Yep I agree too, the food is standard 'Ask' fare, but that's ok with me as I really like their food!
There's a fairly wide selection of products to choose from on their menu and the waiter was helpful at helping me choose a dish that suited my dietary requirements.
very handy if you're seeing a show or play at the Gala Theatre, as it's located in the same complex.
Very handy car park also located in the Walkergate complex.
the whole place has a really nice atmosphere, an ideal place just to come for a meal and chill out, you don't feel as if you're being rushed out as soon as you've eaten. -

Would agree with last reviewer fairly standard 'Ask' Restaurant. Food is good quality and very tasty and restaurant has a nice atmosphere.
Staff were pretty helpful - they were very busy but could have done to smile a bit more!! -

Brash restaurant in Durham, we went on a Saturday night and it was full. Booked on line that afternoon and booking worked fine although the tables wasn't available until 10 mins after we arrived. Food good. Service attentive which considering they were busy was good. I struggled with hearing people at the table because the noise was loud and the general hubub of so many people in the room meant it was difficult to pick out what people were saying - perhaps this is an age problem.

One if the nicest restaurants in Durham. You always know the quality of Ask will be good but this restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and expensive layout. Superb. Perfect for a cinema visit in The Gala and then a meal in Ask.
